Big News

It's HERE! The new Instaproofs administrative website is complete and ready for your use! We love it, we've received a ton of great feedback on it, and we're sure you're going to love it as well!

comparing the differences between a few of the different sections on the old site versus the new.

Quick Overview

A brand new site has been created for the management of your Instaproofs account! The new site is easier to use, prettier to look at, and more functional than the pre-existing site.

The new site was built from scratch from the ground up, so every page on the site is at least a little bit different than it was before. We can't go through everything that's available on the new site, but we'll try to briefly hit the areas that have changed the most.

Dashboard


Quick Links
Your new dashboard comes with a set of pre-selected links that give quick access to many areas within the site. Your galleries, orders, invoices, and sales & coupons are all accessible through just a single click. Not happy with the pre-selected links? No problem! Just click the "edit these shortcuts" link from the shortcut area and select the links that you'd prefer to see there instead.

Store Summary

A simple summary of how your storefront is doing is available right from your dashboard. The summary includes transaction totals for the current month and year, and if there are any orders waiting to be fulfilled or invoices that haven't been paid yet, those details are displayed in the summary as well.

Over the years we've learned quite a bit about what it takes to make a photography storefront do well, and we're passing some of that knowledge on to you as helpful tips on your dashboard.

Galleries

By default, each of your galleries now displays its featured image along with the number of times the gallery has been viewed, the total sales for the gallery, and the number of photos associated with it. If you'd prefer a "list view" instead of the default "grid view", you can enable the list view through a toggle at the top of the page.

Regardless of whether you're looking at your galleries, their categories, or the images within the categories, each view displays in a more visually pleasing way than it has in the past.

Your images are now listed in a grid view by default, and they can easily be sorted, modified, and moved to different categories. Simply select the images you'd like to modify, drag them to where you'd like them to be, or select an action from the "Actions" and "Move To" menus at the top of the screen.

Conveniently Grouped

All purchase options, including print sizes, instant downloads, and up-sell options, now display in a single convenient location. Regardless of what you're looking to promote and sell, simply visit the Purchase Options page to create it.

Creating your Purchase Options has never been easier. Simply click the "Create New Purchase Option" button, and then select the type of item you'd like to create.

Sales & Coupons


Simple Setup

Similar to how your purchase options can now be defined, Sales & Coupons are also now created through a common interface. To create a new sale simply click the "Create New Sale or Coupon Code" button, select the type of sale or coupon you're trying to create, and then follow the prompts!

Convenient Item Details

With just a glance you can know how much of a discount you're offering, when your sales and coupons will expire, and whether or not your coupons have been redeemed by any of your clients.

Color Coded

The sales and coupons are now color coded to help you quickly find the items you're looking for. For example, if you're looking for a coupon code simply look for the items in orange.

Gone are the days of endless scrolling through countless preferences! All preferences have now been split into their own appropriate areas within the menu structure; looking for a specific preference is now as easy as knowing which section of your account you're trying to change.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: When is the new site going to become the default site?
A: We expect to roll everyone over to the new site sometime in the first part of September.

Q: Can I try out the new site before it becomes the default site?
A: Yes! To access the new site, simply click on the New Admin Site link that can currently be found at the bottom of the existing site's menu.

Q: Can I still use the current site while I get used to the new site?
A: Yes, the current site will continue to be available until the end of October. To access the current site from the new site, simply click the Older Admin Site link that's displayed on the new site's main menu.

Q: Are there any tutorials available for working with the new site?
A: Yes, several tutorials are available to you through the Tutorials page found in the user menu (which is accessed by clicking on your name or logo from the main menu).

Q: Can I log directly into the new site instead of having to click into it from the old site?
A: Yes! Sometime in early September we'll begin sending everyone to the new site by default, but if you'd like to start logging directly into the new site before then, you can do that by going to the following location: https://secure.instaproofs.com/manager.
