Start the New Year Right: Your 2024 Instaproofs Checklist

Whether you like to set New Year’s resolutions or not, we suspect you want to see your photography business thrive in 2024. With that in mind, we put together a checklist to help you ensure you’re getting the most out of your Instaproofs Account.
If you’re taking advantage of all our tools and features, we think you’ll be set up for success in the new year! Plus, we pride ourselves in our clients experiencing a little something we call pajama profits. Take inventory of what features you’re currently using, check all the boxes, and then let us know how you’ve generated revenue in your sleep.
Your 2024 Instaproofs Checklist
1. [X] Do you have access to unparalleled customer support? (We took the liberty of checking this box for you.)
2. [ ] Have you covered all your account basics? Whether you’re brand new to Instaproofs or you’re a long-time loyalist, it’s always good to make sure you’ve got a strong foundation. Have you added your contact info and company name? Linked your social accounts? We also recommend assessing whether your current subscription plan offers the right amount of storage for your business in the new year.
3. [ ] Have you fully customized your client galleries? You can customize everything, from adding your logo and watermark, to selecting a font that fits each gallery’s style, to adjusting image sizes and spacing, to adding custom splash screens, and much more. 4. [ ] Speaking of galleries, are they client-ready and client-friendly? Now is the perfect time to check whether your galleries require email addresses to be accessed, whether they’re broken up into digestible gallery categories, feature a gallery image, and more. 5. [ ] Are you taking full advantage of your storefront product options? With Instaproofs you can import products from your favorite labs, create custom products, offer a range of digital downloads, and even offer additional products like gift cards and gallery extensions.
6. [ ] Speaking of product options, have you reviewed your pricing lately? You set the pricing, whether it’s for a gallery or an individual image. If you’re not already, make sure you’re taking advantage of our unlimited pricing sheets!
7. [ ] Do you know how many session types you’re currently offering through our booking services, and what they are? The start of a new year is a great time to inventory your session type “menu.” You can create an unlimited number of sessions (which is fast and easy to do with our session-type templates) and then customize the accompanying questionnaires, discounts, coupons, and even tipping options for each session. Take a few minutes to make sure your session and booking options are current!
8. [ ] Raise your hand if you like creating client contracts! No? Well you’re in luck! You can build your contracts from scratch, or start from one of our sample contract templates. Do you want to attach invoices to your contracts? No problem! Invoices will automatically send when the contract is signed, and you can schedule automatic payment reminder emails. Are you offering multiple shipping options? Take a few minutes to make sure your shipping options are the right ones for you and your clients in 2024.
