Tip: Double-Prints Sale
Every year we see the same thing over and over... photography sales January through April are lower than all of the other months in the year. Let's make this year different! Instead of doing the same things you've always done, and making the same sales you've always made, let's make these couple of months SPECTACULAR for your print sales instead!
Over the course of the next few days we are going to be putting out a series of suggestions to help make your photography sales better than they have been before. These tips and suggestions can be used any time of the year to boost your sales, but start using them early to get a boost in your sales during some of these slower months!
Double-Prints Sale
Our first suggestion is to put on a DOUBLE-PRINTS sale.
Let your clients know that if their orders are over $XX (whatever minimum amount you would like) during the next few weeks they will receive a SECOND COPY of every print they purchase, for free! By making it a double-print sale, every additional print they order results in additional profit for you (assuming your prices are more than 2x the fulfillment costs) and additional happiness for them. It's a win-win! :)
Setting It Up
Because a double-print sale doesn't require anything to be setup in your storefront (you're just doubling whatever they order!), all you need to do to start the sale is:
- Send a sale announcement email to all of your prior storefront visitors (through our bulk email functionality)
- Post a notice to your Facebook page
- Tweet the sale to your twitter followers
- Put a note up on your business website and blog
- Post a note to each of your events announcing the deal
Fulfilling Your Orders
Once you receive an order simply submit it to your preferred lab as normal, but make sure to order double the quantity that your client has ordered. And that's it!
