How to Run a Sale
If you could take just a few minutes to set up a sale that has unlimited earning potential—would you do it?
That’s a silly question—we all have a few minutes to work through a process that is both simple and lucrative.
Curious? Let’s jump in and set up your first print sale!
All you need to do is complete two basic steps: create your email templates and then schedule a sale. After that, Instaproofs’ automated system takes care of the rest! Ready for the checklist?
Create Email Templates
From your Dashboard, navigate to Marketing > Email > Email Templates
Select Sample Email Templates. If this is your first sale to set up, we recommend you start with a Sample Template before you build your own custom email, as our Sample Templates include all necessary details for the sale.
Select a template to edit and customize with your sale details.
Be sure to create both a beginning and ending sale email template: one to announce the sale, and another that is sent as a reminder as the sale comes to a close.
Once you’re done, save, and move on to the second half of the process: Create the Sale.
Create the Sale
From your Dashboard, navigate to Selling > Sales and Coupons
If this is your first time to set up a sale, select Begin Here > Create a Sale > Date Range Sale. If you’ve previously set up a sale, you’ll select Create a New Sale or Coupon Code > Create a Sale > Date Range Sale
Fill in the details of the sale, and be sure all dates and discounts match the details in the email templates you created. BE SURE to turn on the option for Automated Sale Notification Emails and select the email templates you just created.
Enjoy!
That’s seriously it. Clients will receive all scheduled emails, and the sale with activate and deactivate on the dates you selected. All you need to do is keep an eye on your email for incoming print orders!
