In the last two to three months alone, we’ve rolled out WAY more than a dozen system improvements and updates, and we don’t upcharge you for any of these value-adds—this is just part of the deal when you do business with Instaproofs.

Value-Adds:

Booking Services

  • Session updating: regular sessions can now have their session dates/times updated after booking. Once the photographer makes adjustments, an email will notify the client of the changes.

  • When a session type is edited, you can now choose to update the associated sessions at the same time. Did someone say…streamline?

  • Standalone questionnaires:

    • Photographers can now customize the ‘thank you’ message that’s displayed after a questionnaire has been submitted.

    • The people who fill out standalone questionnaires will now receive a copy of their responses after submission.

    • Questionnaires can now be sent from the Booking » Clients page. Expand the options drop-down list next to any client’s name, and select the ‘request response’ option.

  • Booking questionnaires: photographers can now choose between asking their clients to fill out their questionnaires either before booking, or after.

  • In-progress bookings can now be canceled. You’ve got all the control you need.

Gallery Set-Up

  • Photographers can now create new categories from the photo list screen directly, instead of having to navigate back to the category screen.

  • Photographers can now view and add/edit keywords attached to their images. Keywords can be used by your clients to search for specific images within your galleries.

Emails

  • A new filter for "Visitors with Open Orders" has been added to the Bulk Email page, allowing the photographer to email everyone with an order that hasn’t been shipped or canceled. Waiting to order event photos until a certain date? This is a great tool for you!

  • The email delivery report has been updated to show the status of a wider variety of emails, such as booking session reminder emails.

  • EU photographers, you’ve spoken, and we listened—and we have great news. A new option, labeled "Pre-check the Email Opt-in Checkbox", has been added to the Photos » Preferences page.  This allows photographers to choose whether or not the opt-in checkbox is checked by default.

Client Experience

  • The "Sizing Scenes" interface has been updated to display the maximum photo size that fits within each of the scenes.

  • The "Sizing Scenes" themselves have been updated to allow for larger prints, with several scenes displaying prints 40x60 or larger.

  • The minimum required print size within each of the "Sizing Scenes" has been decreased to allow for smaller prints to be displayed within the larger scenes. This will help your clients understand just how small an 8x10 might look hanging in their living room.

Prints and Products

  • We have a new product for WHCC: bamboo panels!

  • Richard Photo Lab has always offered boutique packaging, and now that cost goes toward the photographer’s minimum purchase requirement! So, if you have a client making a small order, add in boutique packaging to get a little more value for your dollar.
